My love of photography started in my teen years, picking up a film camera for the first time and longing to capture the emotion-filled photojournalistic imagery I saw in vintage Nat Geo magazines in my school library. Since then I knew I was being pulled to documentary-style photography- to capture small moments in time and memories you can tangibly feel. Now that I've been doing that professionally for 3 years full-time now (I still can't even believe it), I've realized more than ever that it's my purpose. I still wake up everyday amazed that I get to capture life’s most beautiful moments for a living. I believe that those stories, those milestones, and those memories, matter.
My Philosophy
I knew when I started this journey that I wanted to offer a different experience. I care about telling a story that captures your individual connection in a way that feels honest. Your story is completely unique, and that deserves to be celebrated. My approach is to intentionally capture your memories through artful photographs rooted in genuine emotion and feeling. I’m here to catch those feelings and keep them in a glass jar for you to look at for eternity. Capturing love stories is what I’ve dedicated my life to, and what I’m most passionate about. I believe that your wedding photos should be a true and honest reflection of your day, so that you can just focus on simply living it. Purpose and intentionality are the pillars of my creative process. I want you to look back at those memories and think, "we are so happy, so in love, this is so us". Your wedding photos should to take you back to that time and place. That’s why I do what I do.
My Why
I married the love of my life, Matt, in 2022. It’s true that documentary-style photography has always been what I was drawn to, but getting to live my own wedding day story last summer only reinforced that feeling 10 times over. As someone who’s also experienced the whirlwind that is a wedding day from the perspective of a bride, there was nothing more special to me then getting to relive those moments through photos once the day had come and gone.
As one of those guys who is good at everything, Matt quickly picked up photography as a top skill of his and has been part of Tori Lynne Photography as a second shooter for most wedding days since 2020.

Film was the way I was introduced into the world of photography, and what made me fall in love with it. It has a way of effortlessly capturing a moment in a way that I can only describe as magical. Film means so much to me, and I love that I can finally offer film-exclusive wedding day coverage packages to my clients, or or as an add-on option to traditional wedding day coverage, and for all sessions.
